Permutations & Combinations              

A collection of decorative ceramic vessels all formed from the same experimental 16-part modular slip casting system. Subverting what is traditionally a method of mass production through the introduction of an innovative artistic approach to the process, thus making each piece unique. Layers and sections of the adaptable plaster mould can be moved, or completely removed, allowing for multiple evolving iterations of forms. Taking inspiration from Brutalist architecture and Mid-Century design aesthetics, each piece of the mould is individually decorated by hand before being pieced together and cast as a singular vessel.
