About

Emma Cooke, aka Hello-Ditto, is a London-based multi-disciplinary ceramic artist whose practice inhabits the space between design methodology and craft execution. Working with clay as a medium, they investigate contemporary conceptual and contextual narratives through a material-focused lens. Their ceramic practice, informed by a background in graphic design, methodically investigates the relationship between form, utility, and haptic experience through multiple iterations and collections of vessels.

Drawing inspiration from both our physical and sensory environments, traditional craft techniques are blended with innovative processes and material research, producing work that exists in a productive tension between concept and execution, creating pieces that are both thoughtfully designed and physically engaging.

Based at The Kiln Rooms.
